I don't take many pics of Sophie like I used too. Usually by the time I get the camera or now that my phone can take pics, shes moved or something. I did manage to get this the other day. I got her a new sweater and managed to get it on her. She doesn't like to wear them or little t shirts. She would rather snuggle up in a blanket, so I have a couple around for her to do that. So anyway, just thought I would post a pic of her.

Good Things

This is my first finished piece of cross stitch for 2013. It's small, but I haven't been in the mood to stitch so thought I would start with something small.
I opted to leave the border off and make it into a small pillow.

I have a basket full of charts that have fabrics and threads ready to stitch, so I'm going to try and stitch those instead of buying new ones.

This is the chart for the above piece,I won't stitch it again, so if anyone would like it or maybe you would want start a traveling pattern with it. If your interested leave comments and I'll see how it goes.
I'll decide the first week in Febuary, that  should give everyone time.

A Few Finishes

Well I haven't kept up with my blog much the last of the year, and I can say I'll try to do better, but you know how it is with good intentions.
I haven't been doing much stitching lately, although I did start a small piece over the weekend, but haven't   made  much progress. I have done some beading.
The first is an ornament that I finished up last week. It is called Luminous Riviere Ornament  Cover. It is designed by  Michelle Skobel. She has some nice patterns and kits.

The next thing I beaded was done in Beadpoint. It is called Hiroshige Camellias. It is designed by Ann Benson. Her website is BeasdsEast.com. This design in from her book Beadpoint.
It is stitched with 15/0 seed beads on #18 interlock canvas. I haven't decided how I'm going to frame it yet.

And the last piece has been completed for several years, I'm just now getting it framed. It is Daffodils.
Designed by Debbie Lazaris. The pattern was purchased from The Beadcoop.

There was not a really good way to take a photo of this one because of the metallic beads, you always had a glare, so I hope you can make it out.

Happy Stitching to everyone
